Hosted by the Albany, Georgia Fibromyalgia Support Group, this screening is part of a nation-wide campaign designed to take FM awareness to a whole new level! It is scheduled on the weekend of the annual Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, May 12.

The National Fibromyalgia Association (www.fmaware.org) and Trillusion Media, makers of the groundbreaking documentary film “Living with Fibromyalgia,” (www.livingwithfm.com) have partnered together to coordinate showings of the film across the country. “Living with Fibromyalgia” is the first documentary film to explore the most intimate feelings and life-altering experiences of people living with FM.

This film was made by the daughter of a woman with fibromyalgia, and her husband. They sold their home to make this film, so that other families would have this resource when faced with a similar situation as Daneen Akers and her mother Darlene Akers were faced with when Darlene was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
